Football vs. Hammond Gavit CHANGED to SATURDAY

Due to vandalism on Gavit’s football field, Friday’s football game at Gavit has been changed to Saturday at 2pm. The JV game scheduled for Saturday at East Chicago has been postponed, a make-up date will be determined at a later date.

Maxwell earns Charles Maas Distinguished Service Award

Hobart defeats the Cardinals

The varsity football team hit a “Brickie” wall on Friday as Hobart High School defeated the Cardinals 62-0. A football powerhouse, the Brickies of Hobart proved to be to much for the Cardinals. Next up for the Cardinals is conference opponent Gavit on their home field Friday, September 14th @ 7pm.

Boys soccer team falls to Clark

The boys soccer team battle back from a 3-1 deficit to force overtime but eventually fell to conference opponent Clark High school 4-3 on penalty kicks. Next up, the boys will be taking on another conference team in Hammond High on Monday at 5pm at home.

Girls Soccer defeats conference foe Hammond Clark

Congratulations to Coach Sandra Lozano and the girls soccer team. On Saturday they came away with the hard fought 3-2 victory on penalty kick, against conference opponent Hammond Clark. Next up the girls will continue conference play at home Monday against Hammond High School @ 7pm.

Boys Cross Country Takes 2nd Place

Congratulations to our boys cross country team for taking 2nd place at a meet involving the 4 conference school. Enrique Romo placed 1st over all with a time of 18:27. Others that placed are: 11th Place- Malachi Johnson (22:48) 12th Place- Eygpt Lipscomb (22:50) 13th Place- Louis Williams (22:56) 14th Place- Deveyon Blacknell (22:58) 23rd
