East Chicago Central watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 14-4 loss to Gary West Side on Monday. Gary West Side scored on a single by Antonio Reed, a double by Tyrese Kuykendall, and a single by Leroy Branch in the first inning.
The East Chicago Central struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Gary West Side, giving up 14 runs.
Gary West Side opened up scoring in the first inning. Reed singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.
